CUTTING WOMEN OUT IN BRISTOL

WHAT BRISTOL WOMEN WANT FROM THE GENERAL ELECTION

Broadmead Baptist Church
This event, which is part of the Thinking Futures Festival, creates a space to talk about issues that women identify as critical to electoral politics at the 2015 general election. It brings together local women with academics working on electoral politics and on womens issues. The initial panel discussion will focus on polling and voting behaviour, gendered austerity, women as parliamentary candidates, and womens political interests. Then participate in the debate and contribute to a lively and in-depth discussion in which all contributors can learn from the perspectives of others.
